Thank you for considering becoming a STHS volunteer!

It’s volunteers like you who help the ongoing success of the STHS, enabling us to help women and children as they learn to move forward and overcome personal trauma related to violence. Volunteering with the STHS means contributing to crucial immediate changes for women and children, while helping to create a legacy of strengthened families and a healthier community.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Volunteer, Unpaid

‍Sooke Transition House Society is recruiting new members for our Board of Directors. We're seeking people who care about strengthening our community - skills in areas like law or governance are welcome but not required. What matters most is your interest in our mission, your alignment with our values, and your commitment to learning and contributing.

Board Directors serve a two-year term, with one Board meeting per month (July, August, and December off), plus occasional committee work.
